HOW TO HAVE PLANTS DELIVERED BY MAIL?

All our plants (except for bamboo and pots larger than our standard p9) from the catalog can be sent by mail order.

If necessary, the plants are cut to a safe length in advance.

• The minimum purchase for hobby gardeners is 24 plants in total (possibly spread over different plant species)
• The minimum purchase for professionals is 100 plants in total (possibly spread over different plant species)

Attention: The catalog shows our assortment, not our stock.

Replace or NOT replace? We have to be able to process the orders, so we would like to know in advance if we can offer you an alternative for out of stock plants . If nothing is specified in the order, we assume that we may not replace with an alternative.

The supplier of the package will send you an email with the time of delivery if we have your email address.

Tip: if you are not often at home, have the package delivered to your work or to someone who is at home.
In this way delays in delivery are avoided.

Indicate when ordering via the online catalog "delivery" if you want the plants delivered at home.

HOW TO MAKE THE PAYMENT?

After we have received your order, we prepare a pro forma invoice. This is paid by bank transfer, specifying the reference number that you will find on the invoice.

If you have not received a pro forma invoice from us two days after your order, feel free to email us.

SHIPPING COSTS?

When you place the order or ask for a quote, we will calculate the adjusted shipping costs for you as quickly as possible. You will be notified of this by email.

SHIPMENT

Please note: We will only process the order once the amount has been payed into our account.

When can you expect your package at home?

• Belgium: 1-2 days
• The Netherlands, Luxembourg : 2-3 days

WHAT IF PROBLEMS OCCUR?

If the package is damaged, please refuse it or email digital photos of the damage to us via info@vasteplant.be 

If you receive the message to collect your package at a pick-up location, please do so within 2 days. After all, it contains living plants.

FINALLY

Upon arrival, remove the plants from the box as quickly as possible and water them lightly. If you cannot plant immediately, place the pots in a protected, slightly shaded place outdoors. If you don’t plant them for a longer period of time, do not forget to water them regularly.

Before the plants leave our nursery, they are thoroughly checked for quality and authenticity of species. Our perennials spend the winter in the open air and go through the entire natural growing cycle. This makes the plants very strong and provides great certainty that the plants are winter-resistant and will continue to grow well.

Sometimes a plant needs to be cut to make it easier to pack. The plants are also cut in the nursery, this is no problem for growth or efflorescence.

Via our truck or external transport, for larger orders

HOW TO GET YOUR PLANTS  DELIVERED BY TRUCK?

If you order a larger amount of plants, it might be cheaper to have the plants delivered with our truck.

We drive on set days during the sales season.

Monday +Tuesday + Wednesday: East and West Flanders

Thursday: Antwerp, Limburg

Friday: Brabant, Hainaut, Namur, Liège and the province of Luxembourg

Final date to place order:

Tour Monday: Tuesday week before

Tour Thursday: same week Tuesday

Tour Friday: Tuesday the same week

TRANSPORTATION COSTS

These are communicated by us once we know all the information about the order as well as the delivery address.

Please note: the delivery with our truck is always arranged in mutual agreement. If our truck is already full for a particular day, we may have to move your delivery to another day.

DELIVERY OUTSIDE BELGIUM

This is always in mutual agreement. Transport costs  are calculated based on the volume of your order.
